Looking for weekend plans beyond the city centre? This June, communes across the Geneva region are organising a variety of artisan, second-hand and flea markets. These markets offer a wonderful opportunity to discover local culture, meet residents, support local creators, and pick up a fabulous find!

Marché artisanal de printemps | AvusyThe Spring Artisan Market in Avusy celebrates local craftsmanship and handmade creations in the heart of the countryside. Visitors can browse stalls featuring crafts, jewellery, and other artisanal specialities. There is also a small bar on site.

Fête du Printemps | ThônexThônex's community event features flea markets along Avenue Tronchet and in the playground of École Marcelly, as well as a geranium market held in front of the Salle des fêtes. Vide-Dressing Solidaire & Crêpes Gratuites | Chêne-BourgThis solidarity event in Chêne-Bourg combines two community initiatives centred around support, sharing, and local engagement.
From 11am, a solidarity clothing sale will take place inside the foyer of Point Favre, offering affordable fashion items, second-hand treasures, and gift ideas through responsible shopping. Proceeds from the sales will help support women in vulnerable situations in partnership with the social cohesion services of Chêne-Bourg, including providing hair salon gift vouchers.
From 2pm, visitors can also enjoy a free crêpe stand on Place Favre organised by the GoChên Association, which has been active in Chêne-Bourg for nearly 20 years.
