DirectionsStarting at Genève-Sécheron train station, exit the station onto Avenue de la Paix. Cross over the road and head into Jardin Botanique (the Botanical Gardens). Take time to explore the gardens and walk right the way through to the other side; the exit next to the flamingo enclosure is the one you need.You are now on Chemin de l’Impératrice. Turn left and walk uphill. On your way you will pass under a railway and then by the Italian Mission. Not far after on the right is the entrance to the ‘Domaine de Penthes’.Enter the park and walk uphill to your left. The impressive Château that sits at the top of the domain is called the Château de Penthes - walk around to the front of the building and take the path which leads right; a signpost indicates the direction of ‘Pavillon Gallatin’. Passing the Geneva School of Diplomacy, exit the domain onto Route de Pregny.Traverse the pedestrian crossing immediately in front of you and go right. The first turn on your left is Chemin Palud, which you must take.Continue straight onto Chemin de Machéry, walking along the side of a field. At the pedestrian crossing, cross over, continue walking straight on and eventually you will come to a panoramic viewpoint - take a seat on the raised bench and enjoy the marvellous view!

Sentier des Ecrevisses
Continue down the road and follow the walking path on your right situated between a field and the back of some houses. It will bend left then right before settling along the side of Avenue de Tournay.Look out for a little green sign on a lamp-post which indicates ‘Sentier des Ecrevisses’, and turn right down this path.Follow the path round to the left and you will notice a stream running alongside the path. A little further on, in the woods, is the Etang des Ecrevisses (Ecrevisses pond).Follow the dirt track around the pond for a quick visit of the site, cross the little wooden bridge and exit the reserve on the right. Retrace your steps back along the stream, and then head left instead of right, once again along ‘Sentier des Ecrevisses’.Walk all the way to the end of the path, passing pump tracks on your left and then a skate park. Head straight onto Route de Pregny. To your right you will see the Mairie de Pregny-Chambésy (Pregny-Chambésy town hall) and Church Saint Petronilla of Pregny-Chambésy.On this road, you need to turn left. Walk along until you reach another panoramic viewpoint on the right side of the road. Here you have another amazing view! Afterwards, continue all the way down the road, which becomes Chemin de Chambésy, until you arrive at Chambésy train station, situated on your right.
