HALLOWEEN ADVENTURES ACROSS THE CANTON WITH HALLOMANIA 2026
Halloween is taking over Geneva City and the wider Canton of Geneva this autumn with Hallomania, a festival that offers a different way to celebrate the spooky season.
From 24 October to 1 November 2026, Hallomania brings together Halloween experiences across the canton. Instead of limiting the celebrations to one location, the festival turns vineyards, forests, parks, farms and other local venues into Halloween playgrounds.
There are chasse aux bonbons for children, creative workshops, haunted houses, nature adventures, train rides, wine tastings, murder mysteries and fluorescent parties. Some activities are designed for families, while others are aimed specifically at adults.
Hallomania was created in 2023 by Léman Expériences, bringing together Halloween activities that had previously been organised in different locations around Geneva. The festival has continued to grow and, in 2026, brings together 18 events across Geneva and the surrounding countryside.
Here are some of the Hallomania 2026 events to discover across the Canton:
Chasse aux bonbons en char viticole – GyFor a Halloween experience with a distinctly Geneva countryside feel, head to Gy and the Domaine de la Guérite. The adventure begins with a ride through the vineyard aboard a winegrower's trailer, taking families from the domaine into the vines. Once there, children can set off on a Halloween treasure hunt among the vineyards, searching for their treats.Back at the domaine, the Halloween adventure continues with a creative workshop for children, while adults can enjoy a commented wine tasting. The event is designed specifically for families with children. Younger children under four can take part with a special ticket and have access to an area of games suitable for their age. They can then make their own Halloween lantern during a creative workshop while adults enjoy a wine tasting at the domaine. And for those looking for a little more fright, there is the opportunity to continue the adventure inside the Maison Hantée. The event takes place at an old 18th-century farm and vineyard, giving the Halloween experience an atmospheric setting that combines local history with plenty of spooky fun. Chasse à la Momie – Parc des Évaux, OnexFor a larger outdoor Halloween adventure, head to the Parc des Évaux in Onex. This year, the park has been taken over by mummies! Children receive a map and game booklet and must search the park for 10 missing scrolls, magical ingredients and secret words needed to reconstruct a magic formula. But there is a catch: the park is also home to real, costumed mummies who are hiding among the 50 hectares of green space. Children will have to find them, follow the clues and sometimes even run after them as they try to escape! The adventure also incorporates the natural environment of the Évaux, including its paths, woodland, pond, beehives and insect hotels. There are two levels of difficulty, making the game suitable for children from around four years old, with younger participants able to take part with help from an adult. At the end of the adventure, the treasure chest can finally be opened – revealing the most important prize of all: Halloween sweets. When: 31 October & 1 November 2026Where: Parc des Évaux, Onex Times: 10:30–17:00 Duration: approximately 1½ hours Price: from CHF 29More information
Halloween aboard the Train Terroir Express – JussyAll aboard for a Halloween adventure through the countryside of Jussy! The Train Terroir Express gets a spooky makeover for the occasion, with Halloween decorations, cobwebs, mummies and the festival's friendly mascot, Hallie. The train travels through the countryside before stopping at three different locations in the forest. At each stop, children leave the train to search for Halloween characters as part of a giant Halloween version of the “7 Families” game. Ghosts, witches, vampires and other creatures have become separated from their families, and the young hunters have to find them. Each family member discovered can earn the children Halloween sweets before they return to the train. A practical point for families: pushchairs are not permitted on the train, so parents travelling with babies may want to bring a baby carrier. When: 31 October & 1 November 2026Where: Jussy Times: 10:00–17:00 Duration: approximately 1 hour Price: from CHF 32More information
Murder Party at the Brasserie des Murailles – MeinierHalloween isn't just for children. At the Brasserie des Murailles in Meinier, adults and older teenagers can become detectives for the evening. The 2026 Murder Party takes inspiration from the world of Back to the Future and transports participants into an unexpected 1980s-style mystery. Doc Emmett Brown has been found dead among the brewery's fermentation tanks. Marty is in shock, the DeLorean has disappeared and several suspects appear to have something to hide. Participants become investigators, exploring the real brewery, collecting clues, questioning suspects and trying to work out who killed Doc. The experience takes place throughout the brewery, with its brewing tanks, bottles, storage areas and production spaces becoming part of the investigation. After the approximately two-hour investigation, the evening continues with a commented tasting of the brewery's beers and a sharing platter of local charcuterie and cheeses. The event is primarily aimed at adults, although teenagers aged 12 and over can also participate. A non-alcoholic alternative is available for younger participants and anyone who does not drink alcohol. Each child decorates their own Loto card, then the excitement continues with drawings taking place inside a huge transparent bubble filled with floating balloons. Children are entertained by the activity leaders while younger children can enjoy a dedicated play area under the supervision of their accompanying adult. Meanwhile, adults can enjoy a commented tasting of the Domaine des Bossons wines. The event takes place under a large covered reception tent in the middle of the vineyards, making it suitable for an autumn family outing. Families climb aboard a winegrower's trailer and travel into the vineyards, where children and adults can take part in a traditional Halloween candy hunt. Then the atmosphere changes completely. Back at the domaine, the second hunt takes place under black light, creating a fluorescent Halloween world. Before this second hunt, children aged four and over make and decorate their own glowing Halloween sweet. They then hide it in the fluorescent space – and this time, it is the parents who have to find it! The experience ends with a commented tasting of the domaine's wines for adults, while children can enjoy homemade grape juice. Optional charcuterie and cheese platters are also available. Younger children under four can participate in both family hunts and have a dedicated play area available while older children take part in the creative workshop. DJ Fluo Party – SatignyFor adults looking to celebrate Halloween after dark, the Domaine des Bossons is transforming into a fluorescent party venue. The DJ Fluo Party takes place under black lights, with fluorescent decorations, neon accessories, glowing make-up and Halloween-themed decorations. DJ Anthony Huriez, resident DJ in Megève, will be mixing a variety of styles, including pop, house, electro, hits and reworked classics. The event takes place in a large reception tent in the middle of the vineyard, creating an unusual combination of wine-country surroundings and nightclub atmosphere. A fluorescent souvenir glass and one first drink – wine from the domaine, beer or a soft drink – are included with the ticket. Additional drinks can be purchased at the bar. This is an adults-only event, so it is one for those looking for a more grown-up Halloween night out.
